The Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas, in partnership with the Ateneo de Manila University School of Science and Engineering, will hold an optics and photonics symposium and exhibit in celebration of the International Day of Light (Pandaigdigang Araw ng Liwanag) on 16 May 2019. The event will take place at the new arts and education building at The Ateneo Doreen Black Box, Areté.

The event is open to the public and will include hands-on optical demonstrations and discussions with emphases on inter-disciplinary researches in the applied sciences and the arts.
